The Colon, Rectum is associated with the first chakra called the Perineum.

The color is Red. Red in the body focuses primarily on the genitals and reproductive organs: the glands connected to the red are the gonads and ovaries. Another area of red to focus is the blood and circulation: problems with red will show up as deposits clogging up the circulation or irregularities in the blood supply, blood clots, furring up of the arteries, heart attacks, strokes, anemia and so on. Red eases stiff muscles and joints, particularly in the legs and feet. Red is a real tonic for anyone who catches cold or chills easily. It is a pungent detoxifier and is notably good for freeing the blood flow.

The Ovary/Testicle is associated with the second and ninth chakra called the Genital Region.

Its color is Orange. Orange balances the hormones for both sexes and can aid in infertility problems. Combine orange and yellow to treat the distress of menopause. Orange is our intestinal laboratory. It is connected to the abdomen and the kidneys, and the lower back of the intestines and governs the adrenal glands. The Thymus Gland is associated with the fourth chakra called the Heart

Its color is Green. Green is connected to the thymus gland, heart shoulders and chest and to the lower lungs. Green is good for shock and fatigue. It helps nausea, soothes headaches and is beneficial in cases of claustrophobia. It restores stability in anything malignant, lowering the over stimulation which results from cells that have accelerated out of control. Green is a great nerve tonic. The Thyroid Gland is associated with the fifth chakra called the Throat

Its color is Blue. Blue is connected to the throat area, upper lungs and arms, and the base of the skull. Infections in the throat area are often psychologically related to not speaking out and blue can help in such instances. Blue is a beneficial color for treating children’s ailments, such as teething, and ear, throat and speech and vocal problems. Blue relaxes you and helps you to allay your fears.

The Pineal Gland is occasionally associated with the sixth chakra called the Third eye.

Its color is Indigo. Indigo relates to the lower brain, the eyes and the sinuses. Indigo is the most powerful painkiller in the spectrum. With the ability to transmute and purify, it can clear up bacteria and the results of air, water and food pollution. It can be used to bring down high blood pressure, and is particularly effective at treating an overactive thyroid. Many other complaints respond to indigo, including lumbago, sciatica, migraine, eczema and inflammation, chest and lung complaints, bronchitis, and asthma. This is the best color for insomnia and is helpful in controlling diarrhea. It can aid with kidney complaints and disperses growths, tumors and lumps of any kind. It is also a good healing color for anyone suffering from drug, alcohol or abuse of any kind.

The Pituitary Gland is occasionally associated with the seventh chakra called the Crown.

Its color is Violet. Violet represents the top of the head, the crown, the brain, the scalp as well ads the pineal gland. The color violet activates the pineal gland and can be used to increase spiritual awareness. It relaxes the muscles including the heart and is good for palpitations. Violet is also good for internal inflammation, disturbances of the immune system, jangled nerves, and severe headaches, scalp conditions and concussions. It is a good color to slow do overactive kidneys and release menstrual pain and removes pressure and sensitively to pain.
